This is an inert bullet and cartridge; no primer or powder.  The cartridge is held firmly to the keyring by a screw eyelet in the primer pocket and by industrial strength epoxy.  The keyring can also be used as jewelry, a zipper pull, necklace, pendant or on a key chain.  The keyring is 1 7/16" brass. To keep the cartridge, bullet and keyring shiny, just polish occasionally and it will shine like new.  I've been making & selling Bullet Key Rings since 1988.
