| Antique Green Shirt Cast Iron Jolly Mechanical Bank |
Up for your consideration we are offering a cute antique mechanical bank. The little black man eats the coin you place in his hand when you push the lever at the top back of his left arm, while his eyes roll back. He measures 6 1/4 inches tall, 5 inches wide and is 5 1/2 inches deep. He is wearing a reddish brown shirt with green collar, button band and cuff, and he has a white bowtie. There may have been a hat on his head originally, as there is a screw hole in the top of his head and this top area is unpainted. The unpainted iron is rusty on his head and inside of him. He works well, though. His name, Jolly, is on his back in raised gold-painted letters. No stopper came with him for holding the coins, I'm sorry to say. Very cute antique bank to add to your antique cast iron or bank collection!

We ship only once a week on Tuesdays, except when Tuesday falls on a holiday, in which case we would ship the following day. Items for which we have received payment by midnight on Sunday will ship on the following Tuesday. Shipping will be via your choice of the following options where offered: USPS Parcel Post; USPS First Class (for packages weighing less than 13 ounces only, including their packaging); USPS Priority Mail; Media Mail (for media (books, albums, cds, magazines) only!); USPS First Class International (items weighing less than 4 pounds with their packaging materials); USPS Priority International for items over 4 pounds, when offered. We will occasionally offer UPS delivery when it is less expensive to use. When items state PICKUP ONLY, we do not ship them. If you wish to make arrangements to have them shipped at your own expense, please email us BEFORE bidding on the item. If you live in the vicinity of Victoria, Virginia and would like to pick up any item, email us before making payment so we can adjust the invoice to reflect this choice. Most of our items are set to "Calculate" shipping charges according to the service you choose. If an item is not set to calculate, please email us and we will quote the shipping fees. Our shipping fees include $1.00 to $2.00 handling charge domestically and $2.00 Internationally to offset the costs of packaging materials. All International customs charges, taxes, and duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
Insurance is optional on most items. Although we do all that is possible in packaging your item to prevent breakage, we advise you to take advantage of the insurance offered by the shipping agency selected to guard against any losses from breakage or lost packages. On some high ticket items, we may require shipping insurance be purchased for the items. If the item says insurance is not offered for this item, please email us before bidding on the item, as a mistake was made at the time of the listing.
