Very Rare & Hard to Find Vintage Antique Glass Whiskey Bottle of "Old Prentice" Half Pint, from either the Late 1800's or Early 1900's, very Possible during the Prohibition Days when you had to have a Prescription to even Buy Whiskey! I found this Bottle in my Grandmother's outside ground Cellar and the Glass is Black from all the dust & dirt on it from being stored underground with her canned jars. This bottle still has all the Original Labels and the "Round Glass Stopper" with Cork attached. I have not cleaned this bottle for fear of wetting and damaging the Label. The Bottle is Black from years of sitting on the Shelf in the Cellar collecting dirt and dust. No Chips or Cracks in Bottle, Excellent Condition except for being Dirty!!
This Bottle has a Label over top of the Original that states "Benzine" Otto E. Mueller, Pharmacist. N.W. Highland & Baxter Ave. Louisville, KY.
The Whiskey was bottled at the Distillery located at McBrayer, Kentucky. Please view all Pictures before Bidding! I'm not exactly sure what this bottle is worth but I'm not going to let this one go for any less than my starting price and will keep it if this does not sell and put back into my Antique Collections.
